Race for Governor is set!

Congratulations to Nathan Deal for clinching the Republican nomination in the Gubernatorial primary runoff. That makes this a three-man race, with Democrat Roy Barnes, Republican Nathan Deal, and Libertarian John Monds.

Runoff to be held August 10th!

Join Us in Saving Georgia’s Coast!

We are so excited to be unveiling this new website for our group of Georgia environmental organizations. We have come together because we are alarmed about unchecked development and water pollution along the coast. The state government doesn’t fairly enforce the laws written to control pollution to protect the natural features of Georgia’s coast. We are working together to hold elected officials accountable to their responsibilities that we can drink the water and eat the fish.

RIGHT NOW, Georgians are vying for the chance to be the next Governor.  If you believe that our pollution control laws should be fairly enforced, YOU can help!

Here’s 4 simple steps to take to help out:

  1. Sign up to receive alerts of when candidates will be in your area.
  2. Download the talking points and questions to ask the candidates for Governor.
  3. Attend a meeting and ask the questions–or if you can’t attend, pass them along to a friend.
  4. Tell us about how it went.

So get started by signing up to receive notifications of candidate events today!
