About Us

Save Georgia’s Coast is a group of nine Georgia environmental organizations. We’re looking out for the unchecked development and water pollution along the coast. The state government doesn’t fairly enforce the laws written to control pollution to protect the natural features of Georgia’s coast. We are working together to bring attention to how fragile the coastal wetlands and marshlands are and how we as citizens can help protect and restore out natural resources. We want our elected officials to be held accountable to their responsibilities so that we can continue to drink the water and eat the fish.

Each member of Save Georgia’s Coast is a not-for-profit grassroots conservation organization. Together, we represent thousands of families in coastal Georgia.

Although our organizations generally work in different counties, we share a common interest in fair and consistent enforcement of Georgia’s clean water and clean air laws. Working together as Save Georgia’s Coast, we seek to ensure that Georgia’s future will be one for our children and their children to be proud of. Help us to be the eyes and ears of our precious recourses and maintain that balance we all as Georgian’s want.
